"V-5" Spindle

The V-5 spindle is used where pilot diameter has to be smaller than the hole to be checked. unlike the V-4, this spindle can be removed from the fixture.

To isert or remove gage, simply rotate handle to automatically retract both the contract arm and stop pin.

The stop pin prevents damage to the contact arm, in case the inspector forgets to rotate handle while removing gage from fixture.
