Design Variations of "V" Spindle
A retracting button will permit the gage to pass through a smaller hole to check a larger hole.

Can be used in a common fixture to check similar parts with different size holes.

Retraction cannot exceed total indicator travel.

Free-drop retraction normally furnished. Positive reaction must be specified if desired.

To check outside diameters such as hubs, pins or protruding shafts.

To check squareness or depth
Pressure pads or collet permits location in one part diameter to check concentricity of two diameters.
Hand knobs are recommended when diameter "B" exceeds 2.500.
