Zero "V" Spindle
This is the most common spindle used in the greatest majority of cases.

This design is used to check hole sizes from .255 up to 4.000 or larger if bulk and weight is not objectional.

Design Requirements

Part diameter should always be less than pilot "B".

The part tolerance plus the T.I.R. must not exceed the total indicator travel.

Standard for dim. "E" is .180, less than this is available at additional cost.

To obtain a gage fit for pilot dia. "B", lapping of bushing is recommended.
